Do you know the history of the One Dollar Bill?
Do your children know the history One Dollar Bill?
Do their teachers know it?
Do you know who Haym Solomon was?

Read this fascinating history of the $1 bill – all the way to the bottom to know about Haym Solomon. You may be in for quite a surprise!

On the rear of the One Dollar bill, you will see two circles. Together, they comprise the Great Seal of the United States. The First Continental Congress requested that Benjamin Franklin and a group of men come up with a Seal. It took them four years to accomplish this task and another two years to get it approved. If you look at the left-hand circle, you will see a Pyramid.

Notice the face is lighted, and the western side is dark. This country was just beginning. We had not begun to explore the west or decided what we could do for Western Civilization. The Pyramid is uncapped, again signifying that we were not even close to being finished. Inside the Capstone you have the all-seeing eye, an ancient symbol for divinity. It was Franklin's belief that one man couldn't do it alone, but a group of men, with the help of God, could do anything. "IN GOD WE TRUST" is on this currency.

The Latin above the pyramid, ANNUIT COEPTIS means, "God has favored our undertaking." The Latin below the pyramid, NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM means, "a new order has begun". At the base of the pyramid is the Roman numeral for 1776. (MDCCLXXVI)

If you look at the right-hand circle and check it carefully, you will learn that it is on every National Cemetery in the United States. It is also on the Parade of Flags Walkway at the Bushnell, Florida National Cemetery, and is the centerpiece on monuments of most heroes. Slightly modified, it is the seal of the President of the United States, and it is always visible whenever he speaks, yet very few people know what the symbols mean.

The Bald Eagle was selected as a symbol for victory for two reasons:

First, he is not afraid of a storm; he is strong, and he is smart enough to soar above it. Secondly, he wears no material crown. We had just broken from the King of England. Also, notice the shield is unsupported. This country can now stand on its own. At the top of that shield there is a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation.

In the Eagle's beak you will read, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" meaning, "from many – one".

Above the Eagle we have the thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one. Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace.

The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war, his gaze turns toward the arrows. An (untrue) old-fashioned belief says that the number 13 is an unlucky number. This is almost a worldwide belief. You will almost never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13th floor.

But think about this: America, which relies on God (not a number) to direct and lead, boldly chose:

13 original colonies

13 signers of the Declaration of Independence

13 stripes on our flag

13 steps on the pyramid

13 letters in 'Annuit Coeptis'

13 letters in 'E Pluribus Unum'

13 stars above the eagle

13 bars on that shield

13 leaves on the olive branch

13 fruits

and if you look closely 13 arrows

And finally, notice the arrangement of the 13 stars in the right-hand circle. You will see that they are arranged as a Star of David. This was ordered by George Washington who, when he asked Haym Solomon, a wealthy Philadelphia Jew, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army. Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself, but he would like something for his people.

The Star of David was the result.

Few people know it was Solomon who saved the Army through his financial contributions …then died a pauper. Haym Solomon gave $25 million to save the Continental Army, money that was sorely needed to help realize America's freedom and independence from England.

Therein lies America's Judeo-Christian beginning. Most American children do NOT know any of this. They are not taught because their history teachers do NOT know this.

On America's Freedom: Too many veterans gave up too much to let the meaning fade. Many veterans came home to an America that did not care. Too many veterans never came home at all. They served and they died for you… and for me.

I hope you will share this page with many, so they can learn about the UNITED STATES DOLLAR BILL and what it stands for. America is at a critical juncture.

We need to do whatever we can to save America while never, ever forgetting:

It is God in whom we put our trust!

Finding the perfect web hosting solution for your website can be incredibly frustrating. There are tens of thousands of web hosting providers in the global market place, and they are all desperate for new customers. This means that, as soon as you start your search for a suitable web host, you will probably be bombarded with promotional discount codes, special time-limited hosting plan offers and exaggerated promises of huge savings. Wading through all of the information available can be time consuming, confusing and boring. Fortunately, presented below are seven tips and ideas that will hopefully make your search for the perfect hosting provider easier.

	1. Visit a reputable hosting directory. Hosting directories are an invaluable resource when you are researching your web hosting options, as you can quickly compare hundreds of different web hosting companies and hosting plans. You can also read reviews from current and previous clients and ask company representatives questions.

	2. Restrict your search to web hosts that use Apache (Linux) servers unless you really need to use Windows web tools and features such as ASP. Apache (Linux) servers are cheaper than Windows servers, and they are much more popular.

	3. Determine your specific hosting needs and wants. There is no point paying for 1TB of webspace if your website only contains 100MB of static content. Many webmasters waste a lot of money by opting for advanced dedicated server hosting plans when a basic shared hosting plan would suffice.

	4. Try to choose a local web host. While offshore web hosts may be cheaper, you are likely to run into problems if you ever need to contact customer support, since there is no guarantee that employees will be able to communicate with you in your native language.

	5. Avoid ad-supported web hosts. Ad-supported web hosts are usually very cheap and sometimes even free, but you will have no control over the types of adverts that are placed on your website. If you are using your website to showcase and sell products, the last thing you want is for adverts for similar products from your competitors to be displayed on your site. Ad-supported web hosts are also usually not very secure and their servers are generally overstretched, so your website's performance will suffer leading to a poor visitor experience.

	6. Ask yourself whether you really need web hosting. There are now many ways in which you can publish information on the World Wide Web without having the hassle of managing an entire website. Perhaps a Facebook page or a blog would be a better option.

	7. If you have a stable internet connection and a fast computer, consider setting up your own web host. This is a great way to save a fortune on annual web hosting costs. The major disadvantage of this method, however, is that you have to ensure that your computer is switched on at all times.

Hopefully, the tips featured above will help you on your quest to find a web hosting solution that fits your budget and meets your needs as a webmaster.

Social Security (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSD) limit how much you can earn each month. For Social Security Disability, that amount is $500. That does not mean you are forbidden to earn more. It simply means that is how much you personally take in. There is a way to earn more though, without it reflecting on your personal allowance.

Preliminary Caution: You should consult a business or tax consultant before putting any of these ideas to work so you get them right. Messing up any step can get your Social Security canceled, making the challenge even tougher to get it back. I am taking a big risk putting this online to help you, since it could place my own benefits in jeopardy. Done properly, you can have your benefits and a lifestyle above what the rules say you can.

For this method to work you will need a spouse, friend or roommate, who is willing to put a business in their name. Obviously the person must be trusted with your finances and/or business authorizations. Once you choose a business model and name, register it under their name. Open a bank account for the business. The primary account holder will be the business owner. You should be put on the account as a signer. Once the bank account is set up, open a merchant account. That can be PayPal or ClickBank. Again, put the merchant account in the company name, making sure you have access.

Now that the banking is set up, start marketing affiliate products or other services, including your own. All sales will be paid to the company. The company will then pay you a monthly salary for your services. I keep the amount at $450 so it stays below the limits. You can be paid as a 1099 independent contractor, or as an employee.

Before jumping in and making yourself an employee, keep in mind that the expenses will be much higher. For example, when you pay the Medicare and Social Security required deductions, the company will have to match them. The company will also have to pay for unemployment insurance. In addition, the company will be taxed on its earnings. All of that will eat up a large portion of your income. It will however, have deductions for operating and payroll expenses, that will help reduce its tax liabilities.

Paying a 1099 self-employed contractor reduces the company liabilities to its operating expenses and tax on income. The independent contractor will be responsible for the Social Security and Medicare payments, along with any taxes on income. Those will be kept at a minimum when you get a low monthly salary and pass the expenses on to the company itself. For example, the company will pay for all advertising, hosting, accountant fees and other professional fees.

Now, how do you benefit from being paid a low salary? Simply have the business owner transfer funds into their bank account for living expenses. If you share a personal bank account, make sure the transfers are marked in their name, not yours. For record keeping, such as QuickBooks, all transfers other than your monthly salary are entered as partner draws against the account in the account holder's name.

Setting up a system like this will remove the limitations on earning income while on Social Security (SSI) or Social Security Disability. For SSI, you may want to arrange for the business and bank accounts to be managed by someone outside your home, since the gross household income is used to determine the benefit amount. Social Security Disability only monitors your individual income.

Have you searched for your own name lately? Do you know not only how many times you are listed? When searching, you also want see listings of others who share your name.

Why is this important? Because when you are marketing online, you need to know what kind of competition there is to dominate your market using your own name. For example, when I search for "Jim Hutchinson" on Google, there are 48,100 results. Bing shows 16,800. Yahoo! shows 17,100. Not all of those are mine.

Yes it helps that I own JimHutchinson.com and that is on the first page, but it also helps that I use my own name in multiple social networking circles. Each time you post a message or article, search engines like Google, Yahoo! and Bing index it to use that information in their Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).

You get the same, similar or better results by being social and posting information using your name. You do not even have to use your name in the posts because it will already be there. If you social networking account is in your name instead of an alias or company name, you will brand yourself. If you provide your author profile when posting blog articles, you will brand yourself there too.

You want to brand yourself so people will recognize you as a leader in your field and look to you when they need answers. You could of course, brand a company name instead, but in social circles, that is not personal. Many of your posts on Facebook will be personal in nature to communicate with your family, friends and associates.

A company identity will post mostly business-oriented messages. A personal identity will post both business and personal messages. Separating the two is not very easy when branding yourself instead of a company, but you can tie the two together by mixing your messages. When you do that, people will get to know a bit about you and what you offer. That can be a good mix.

On the other hand, branding yourself by posting strictly business information will get boring to your followers. Mix it up by using your name in your profile and blend your company name and products in for a good recipe.

Millions of people have some type of disability. We don't want pity, stares, whispered about, pointed at or made fun of. We want respect and a chance to do our part in any way we can, just like you and everyone else.

Every since I was a child, I hoped that I would never become disabled. Seeing others with physical or mental disabilities was strange to me, because I wondered how they got through their daily lives. I avoided staring at them, mostly because some of them stared back without saying a word. That in itself made me feel uncomfortable.

I wanted to talk with them and ask questions like how they got that way, how they get through their lives, how they feel when others stare, along with many other questions that intrigued me. I refrained from asking because I thought they would get angry for asking. The last thing I needed at that time was more enemies, so I turned away until they were gone. That too made me feel bad for them because I figured most others were doing the same thing and ignoring them. That must feel alienating and very lonely.

At the age of 16, my hopes of remaining physically healthy had been squashed. A spine injury put me into a back brace that caused others to stare, laugh, whisper to their friends and alienate me. I had gone from being athletic and playing in various sports, to experiencing the pain and anguish that those who I had avoided lived with. I had become one of them.

While I continued to push forward in an attempt to live a somewhat normal life, my limitations caused me to leave most of the 54 jobs I have had in my life, including a short visit in the Army. I just went in the Army to see if I could make it. I had been refused by the Air Force because one eye was 5 points lower than their requirements, so the Army was the only other choice. That only lasted 32 days until once again, my back forced me to seek life elsewhere.

In the early 1990′s a car hit me from behind while I sat at a red traffic light. That impact twisted my spine to the point where my chiropractor said I was really messed up. Not knowing at the time that I would continue being affected after healing, I continued on with my life. A few years later, it once again came back to haunt me.

For 2 years I was treated for carpal tunnel syndrome, but refused surgery. Finally, an occupational physician determined that the problem was not in my wrists, but stemmed from my neck. The rear-end collision had set in motion a condition known as Degenerative Disc Disease. There is no cure for this condition and replacing the discs does not have a good enough track record for my doctor to recommend it.

The Spinal Stenosis (a narrowing of the spinal column) is another by-product that has effects of its own. When you tamper with the spinal cord, the “nervous system highway” leading to all parts of your body, anything can happen. Mine is being compressed by the narrowing column.

That chain of events brings us where I am today: unemployable, constantly medicated, limited from most activities and searching for ways to generate income to survive. That in itself is a challenge since being medicated and in constant pain means frequently losing focus on what I am doing.

Millions of people have some type of disability. We don’t want pity; that only makes us angry. We hate being stared at, whispered about, pointed at or made fun of. We want respect and a chance to do our part in any way we can, just like you and everyone else. Where we are weak in some areas, we excel in others, just like you.
